FAQs

Do pallet racks require inspection?
Yes. Formal inspections should be conducted annually by an insured, competent person. More generally, informal self-inspection no less than every two months is advisable.
Does Rack & Shelf supply AS compliant racking?
Yes. All our racking conforms to Australian Standards. Relevant load signage is supplied with all racking.
What is AS 4084?
The Australian Standards number 4084-12 is for racking installed prior to 2012. AS 4084-23 is for new and used racking installed from 2023 onwards.
Can you modify existing racking?
Yes, providing racking is within the manufacturers design and load capabilities. Just ask us how.
What are typical lead times?
We carry sufficient stocks of both new and secondhand racking to supply general requirements. Lead times for larger orders are subject to quantities and availability.
What brand is my racking?
If you have existing racking and wish to extend your storage space, send us a pic and we'll help you identify the manufacturer and the capacity.
